If you don't need one in show condition I feel the repop ones are way over priced. If you don't need perfect looking I am sure someone here will have a used one for much less. I have 6 used TH350s but not sure if i have any cables left. If I do I sell them for $25 shipped. I will look and see but if someone else has one before I get back to this then just get theirs.

Well from what I have read they are not "crap" cables, and I was just trying to help.
Also at this point you will more than likely be looking at a used 45+ year old cable. Keep that in mind when comparing cables.
Good luck sir.

The repro may function as intended, more or less, but there are differences to the oem. That in my case make a difference.

TH350 Kick Down Cable
I have sold several oem used cables with no complaints about quality. I still have a couple left. Email me to discuss: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.

Did not mean to offend you. And thank you for your Help with what is available. There is no substitute for for good OEM parts as opposed to replacement parts made wherever.

Anyone have a photo of the kickdown cable connected to the gas pedal correctly? I was looking at mine yesterday, and theres a 1/4 tube spacer through the cable to "make it work".
Trying to figure out if mine is junk or if it's just got a correct piece missing.

According the the CSM, that's an adjustment tube. Here's a link to the CSM page showing the cable and little tube (Figure 7-640):

Thanks for that. I have that whole manual downloaded somewhere, but I'll be damned if I can find it. I stupidly printed most of it back in college single sided, so the binder would be 10" thick if I ever put it together. :/
But wait, back to the OP, is 72 different!?

Thanks guys for all the Help I was able to locate an orig. one.
Yes 72 is different. 69-71 is one style, 72 to ? is another. Will the later style work on a 69-71 vice versa i'm sure but it depends on if the person needing it needs it to be assembly line correct.
The NOS one pictured above is most correct for 72 on.
