Need help
Hi guys from the UK, my grandpa past a couple of months back and I became the new owner of his prized 64 cutlass coupe. She was in need of a lot if live and attention as he was ill for a long time, we started to strip her for a long Hall rebuild and 2 14 year old lads thought it would be funny to set fire to the inside of her. The seat ect I'm not to bothered about as we are going to retrim everything, but the roof has been totally worped from heat. Does anyone know if the are any reproduction roof skins for the 64 out there as in the UK finding parts from the US is a bit of a nightmare. We could go with a vinyl roof cover but the ones I have seen don't come with the chrome trim and I can seem to find them for love nor money. Any help would be really great Cheers guys

I don't think any one makes reproduction roofs for these cars. I think your only hope is to find a parts car, cut the roof off of that, and weld it on to this car.
But it seems to me that, with the interior destroyed and the roof as well (and I think fire can do more damage than what is obvious that you might not have found yet), even though it has a lot of sentimental value, it may be time to put this car out to pasture. Use it as a parts car to restore another '64, and you'll know that that car will have parts from your grandfather's beloved car and will still carry his memory.
By the way, I hope those 14 year old morons were caught and fully punished.

Sorry about this happening. There is a 1964 Cutlass F-85 2 Dr. hardtop listed with pictures on Huntsville (Alabama) Craigslist. He is asking $4500. He states it needs work, but to contact him,and he can explain. It Looks very well complete. Best of luck. Location says Petersburg. That may be in Tennessee, because that Petersburg is only 40-50 miles from Huntsville Alabama. PM me if I can Answer any Questions. I looked this back up and the car and owner are in Tennessee.Contact # is 1-931-492-2879. Larry

I just noticed that a member on this site (Coloradoride) has a 1964 Cutlass post car listed in the classified section on 09/05/16. Wants $3000. Might want to check it out. Larry
