60's flarestat and Oldsmobile dealer signage
I was cleaning up the parts storage mezzanine the other day and came across this flarestat. I had bought it years ago and forgot about it. These were used for four way flashing before that feature was standard. If anyone is interested let me know. The part is in the original box, has the installation sheet and in perfect condition. The numbers are Gr 2.575 982703
I also have available two of the three pieces for the 60's dealer showroom signs. These signs had the big plastic rocket logo (about 4ft high) with two attaching pieces that read "SUPER ROCKET" and "ACTION". These two pieces mate up with the top of the middle rocket piece, one on the top and one on the bottom of it. I dont have a spare rocket but if someone has the rocket and needs the other two pieces these would make your sign complete. Both pieces are lighted. The super rocket piece is kind of tear drop shaped and the action piece is rectangular. Both are original blow molded light guage plastic and coloured. |

That Flarestat unit is always in big demand on "EvilBay". If no one picks it up from here, give it a try. A new unit like that will go for nearly $200.

Thanks for the tip cruiser. I do believe I have seen these pop up on evil a few times over the years but never followed up on them to auction end. I have bought on ebay but never done any selling.

Hello swiss. I didnt consider posting the pics but I can get the wife to do that when the seasonal festivities calm down. That kind of thing is her department as if I tried doing it I would surely screw it up. Me and computers dont get along much...lol. I will get her to do that and edit the information here when she can. What pics do you want to see.

Oldsmobilia, I've had several transactions with Patrick, (Swissoldsmobile) and he's a good guy to work with. No concern about overseas transactions with him. John

going to see if the pics can be posted today Patrick. Just by chance are you the fella that I have heard about over the years. I have a e friend, John, an avid Toro nut, in Vegas and while we have never formally met, he has told me about having some visits from a fellow in your country. The one visitation that I heard about was a few years ago when the guy rented an Aurora to use for touring on his trip to visit and blew her up. I seem to recall references to this fellow as "the swede" so maybe it is not you. Anyway, I'll try to coerce the wife into posting the pics today if she can do it. John
