Olds AM/FM/8-track Radio

Got a factory original Olds AM/FM/8-track radio that I think I removed from a Delta 88 some years ago. Very clean condition. Has the older style plug-ins on back...which were pre-1975, I believe. Has the longer style *****...but, I do have a set of '73-'77 Cutlass ***** I could swap if desired. Just bench-tested it and everything works; including 8-track and dial indicator light. However, the sound from the 8-track tapes reminds me of the Chipmunks...too fast. I've read where these can be adjusted, but don't know how. Comes with attached Convector (some call it an amp). Can't figure out how to post pics on here. Contact me at sdbriese2@comcast.net for pics, questions, etc. $75.00

Many GM factory 8-track decks have a flywheel with a pattern of squares molded in it. When running under a common fluorescent light, adjust motor speed trimpot until the squares stand still. Sounds silly but I have done it and it works great. The flicker frequency of the lamp is what does it. Err for the side of slightly too fast if you cannot get it to stand still.
