parting out 70 vista cruiser

I am keeping the complete front end, and engine. Let me know what you are needing. this car has very nice trim on it. the tale gate is good, the doors are good. the problem areas are the floors, and around the top glass. I will be posting
pictures, but will not have the car until late next week.

Ok, I don't know what the condition of the door panels is, but as soon as I get it home I will get back with you on this.

If the rear bumper and tailgate are good and the right price, I want them. Also all of the roof glass and the doors if they are rust free. In all reality, I want the whole car if its cheap and relatively rust free (like no thru rust).

I have this car at my place now, and I will start getting back to y'all in the same order in which I received your request. I'm sorry it has taken so long, the wife had a knee surgery, and along with that my real job has me beat down. I have thought about just selling this to some one that can work out a partial trade, what I need is a full front end for the 70 cutlass supreme I just bought. This vista runs and drives, and I have had a few guys express concerns about parting it out. The rust issues are the floor pans. thoughts ?

I still want the car without the engine and trans. You can keep the doghouse too, I just want everything from the firewall back for the price I had in my PM to you.

For what it is worth. Family comes first! I have had the same disappointments on and off. I love these old cars but it just isn't in the cards sometimes. If you are overwhelmed for the time being take a step back and get the priority list in order. If this VS has parts that you need and you are in it cheaper than you can replace them for by selling the car; then you would be making a mistake by selling it. People who are in line to buy the parts should understand the you have no choice but to put them off. If they want to purchase parts from other people then there is always another guy looking for the part.

krj442:
Does the Vista Cruiser have cruise control? I’m looking for a good dash switch and the servo bracket that mounts on top of the intake manifold.
Thanks!

I would take 450. For the gate, and 200. For the bumper. Plus shipping. You can get a quote from third party logistics ( Fastenal ) it will ship from Midlothian Texas 76065 Fastenal store.

They are different....you need a bracket that folds down. The Vista does not...

Do you have the long braces that go from the fire wall to the fenders?

The curved braces that follow the fender well down to the base of the fire wall?
I do have a nice set somewhere. I didn't even think to look on this vista for them.

I know what you mean now. No, I do not have them, I don't think I have ever seen them on any this old. I remember them on the 73 cutlass I think.

I bought a pair off ebay a while back. My parts car has one but not a pair. They're out there. Actually a member on CC has a pair but I thought they were a little pricey. Look a ways back on parts for sale, I'll bet you find them. I think he was in Wisconsin.
