Parting out 1964 Cutlass convertible

Hi All
I've pulled the rolling chassis out from under it and have a commitment from a member here for the end of this month. If he doesn't purchase it then I'll update this thread with that information. The floorboards are rotten and the trunk floor is mostly gone. The drivers side quarter panel has bad rot in the bottom, the passengerside has bubble in the paint where its starting to come through. There's also dents in all the sheetmetal. The upper areas of the quarter panels and around the back seat is solid. The panel over the rear axle looks good. The convertible top frame is good. Back seat bottom is badly rusted, but the seat back could be saved and rebuilt. I've not removed the bucket seats yet, but suspect they too have bad seat bottoms. I've got the complete 1964 330 & 2 speed transmission that came out of it. I'm keeping the power windows for another project car.

I haven't started cutting up the main body yet, but am thinking of the following prices:

Top frame $500
Pass 1/4 panel $400
Drivers 1/4 panel $200
Tail between 1/4's $75

I'll try to update this with pictures this afternoon, but here's a link to the thread when I got it. There's several photos of the complete car there.

I am looking for a bunch of stuff: a rebuildable bucket seat or two, hood letters, front door armrests (base and pad) and possibly a steering wheel if you have anything like that available.

I'll look to see what I have on your parts wanted list.

Do you have the steering column? I have nothing and am looking for a complete steering column, column shift or floor shift, 64-66. Steering wheel not needed. Price shipped to NY zip 12538 and if possible pics please.

I know I've got a couple column shift columns, but it may be the weekend before I have time to look them over and photograph the best one for you. Thanks for sending your zip code, I'll come up with a total cost including shipping when I send you photos. John

64 Cutlass parts

I'm looking for an automatic floor shifter for a 64 Cutlass. Only need the shifter, not the console or wiring or anything else.

Also looking for these parts for the same car:

- all 4 wheel well moldings
- rocker trim moldings, both sides
- right side turn signal lens (in front bumper)

Please let me know if you have any of these parts.
thanks, Kevin

(car is in Denver, Co.)

Here's the column in the 1964. It would likely be next weekend before I could finish pulling it and boxing it up for shipping costs. If your still needing one send me a reminder on Saturday. John

I've got a couple other 1964 project cars. I need to make sure I don't need the trim for them. Due to my work schedule it will likely be Saturday before I can check this out. Please send me a reminder Saturday morning.

I've got some shifters that have broken ears where the T handle fits. If your open to dealing with that I can send you pictures of what I've got this weekend. The wheelwell and rocker moldings are really hard to find. There's one person in front of you, so if I decide I have extra pieces I'll give you second chance at them. I've got some other 1964 project cars and am looking for a pair of good turn signal lenses myself! So sorry, I can't help you on that item. John

Dave, if I have next weekend off work I'll get some pictures for you.

Sean, I may have a core bumper that needs straightened but I'm short on a good set of blinkers myself.

I'd be interested in the ignition switch along with the key. Also the side panels on each side of the back seat if they are solid. I'd be interested in both. I need them for a 'vert.

Sorry guys, work was crazy again. But I expect to have the weekend off. I'll let you guys know whats available on Sat or Sun.

Jeff, the little red light was for the emergency brake and not all cars came with it.

Hi Dave
I've got pictures of the two boxes, under dash and under hood. Did you also need the control panel, or just the boxes? Here's a link to the photos:

Hi Kevin
I haven't got the dash pulled yet. The back seat side panels are badly rusted at the bottom. Surprised me, as they looked solid until I pulled the seat bottom.
