I have a customer in Denver,Colorado,with a BOP 8.2" 10-bolt 3:55 posi rear that will be for sale. It came under his 68 442 4-spd convertible when he got it,which is not correct,and I have sold/shipped him the correct rear for his car.On the phone,he gave me the axle tube code of XH,which translates to 67-72 Pontiac Lemans/GTO 3:55 posi.Casting#9795084.It is in as-is,used condition,but worked fine when he ran it.If anyone in that area is looking for a rear like this,I will PM the contact info.

That rear should have a large N cast into the front top of the center housing. N for nodular iron. Should help him sell it.

I called him back,and it DOES have the large 'N'.
I plan on calling later to help him find the julian date,so we can determine what year it is exactly.
