70 - 72 Cutlass Floor Shifter and Cable
Here is a nice 70 - 72 Shifter with the cable and Correct shifter ball.... Chrome is in good shape... 1st $100 plus shipping.... PM if interested photo1_zps255c0f19.jpg

The 70 shifter is different from the 71 shifter. Not sure about 72. There are a few threads on CO which show the details.

I know the 69 70 base is different to accomadate the NSS, but the dimensions are simialr enough to the 71-72 that I dont think it would pose a problem, the 69 also had a slightly different cable mount to work w the NSS, but the handle is the same

I have a pic of a 69 shifter base in the classifieds if you want to compare
