Rare find NOS 68-69 GM passenger full quarter

This is a true rare seen item, NOS 68-69 cutlass 442 passenger rear GM quarter, this is the full covering door jam, inner trunk lip and goes half way up roof. This is an awesome find for the person wanting NOS GM parts.

Just to clarify, this will fit 68-69 2 door hardtops, It is actually a 1968 passenger quarter. I have listed tis car in hopes to find a person which truly needs this to fix a Hurst, 442, W30,W31 our Cutlass etc, This does have some minor flaws little imperfections but is truly a nice find. I have had a few offers ranges from $300- $1200 "corrected" I do not want to ship, so at this time if someone wants to discuss first closest to $1650 you own it.

These are not included with this sale yet I thought some of you might find the other 68-9 NOS items interesting.

Being that you are from the Show Me State, one would think you would want to show us what you have.

The value here to me is that the metal is thicker and better than a reproduction piece. I would just be using it as a nice quality repair panel. Let me know if you have arrive at an asking price as I would consider buying it from you.

You are correct , any OEM part will fit better and with this being the full quarter make the job much cleaner. With the rarity of this item I am not sure how to price it. Not wanting to give it away and not looking to retire from it either. I know what 70-72s bring and this is tougher to locate.

It's worth more for a Hurst Olds, W30 or 442 project, but I am interested and close enough to you to come pick it up.

Is it a 68 or 69? If it's really NOS the tail lights cut outs are part of it, correct?

It is a 68, it is NOS! I stated 68-69 since it will fit either car, minor adjustments around tail light needed for 69

Rarity doesn't always necessarily dictate a presumed or assumed worth.
70 parts and cars more often than not get more than 68 and 69 a fore mentioned. This includes the quote un-quote rare w-parts and cars.
At any rate I have interest and obviously the two in front of me as well; so perhaps listing a price would expedite your selling goal .

Thanks for posting the picks. Post what you need out of it and I'll respond real quick with whether I'm in or out. You have three potential buyers waiting on a price.

Okay, great, you've had lots of interest. I'm sorry I still don't see the price.
I have been trying to get a price quote from almost the moment you posted.

69ishholiday, stickw31 and myself that would make the 3 potential buyers in that we all collectively expressed interest in the piece.

Unless I am mistaken still do not see a price

I'm out. If you're having an auction you should have listed it on e-bay and posted a link.

Many people don't want the China aftermarket metal on the car, they also don't make these any more. So the way I see it, it is better to do a full quarter than a partial and have to have it redone after the plastic starts to crack.
Also a partial quarter will demand more labor when finishing and the fit is not always that great, just my thoughts.

And as I mention offers closest too!

Dean,
Just an FYI, I personally am a 70-72 guy. While I have strong passion for any OLDS I was fortune enough to meet a guy which bought many 67-70 parts NOS from a Olds Dealer which closed in the late 70s. Most is late 68-69. He is beginning to liquidate stuff due to age he is cleaning stuff out. He does not want his kids to have to deal with and he asked for my help. Some I have acquired some I will assist him in moving.
I hate to price someone else's items since they are not mine, I want him to get the best price possible with out the Ebay head aches.

Regards to the Quarter is at my location and again have had some goofy offers and some solid, I did correct the best price offer of $1200. I am sure it will sell in the range of $1200-1600 needs to go to deserving car.

Regards and Happy Oldsmobiling.

I really don't think he had a vision, he bought them at a time when he had a shop and never touched many parts forgetting in his storage for years.
