69-72 Bucket seat headrests - Driver quality
SOLD PENDING PAYMENT 12/9/13
One pair of original '70-2 bucket seat headrests...white in color originally (these came from a '72 Cutlass with a white interior).
>Both headrests have the typical stressed/torn area on one side near the raised "ridge" around the headrest.
-On one of them I've glued/repaired the tear ....not a perfect repair but will be less noticeable once these are painted/dyed.
-The other headrest still has the torn area
>The overall surfaces are not real wavy or "lumpy" like you see on a lot of these original headrests. Most of these have a bit of "waviness/lumpiness" across the surface and these do have SOME but I've seen many with a lot more.
>Factory coloring is worn down in areas - primarily on the frontside of each headrest in certain areas. The overall "grain" is still intact.
>Chrome posts are good....not rusted. Chrome is a bit dulled in certain areas from rubbing, etc but again, no rust/pitting/bubbling
>Underside textured plastic "filler" plates are included but they aren't in very good condition.
Obviously, these aren't "concours" or show car pieces. With some repair work on the headrest that's still torn and some good paint/dye these would be great for a "driver" type car.
$40 + shipping
Check or MO....no paypal.
