Bunch of l.e.d interior bulbs

Have some nice quality pure white Led kits if you guys are interested. These are the pure white (have other colors if wanted) Been selling these local and to friends. Here are a couple of pics installed on oldspackrat's 70 Vista and a few others. Just $25 bucks shipped for the dome and dash lights. Vistais extra if it has the extra dome. Just 4 bucks more. Can also get the loop light if you have the courtesy light package.

These are a nice improvement on our old cars for sure. Everything is much brighter & they take a lot less voltage. I did all the gauges & the front & rear side marker lights on my cars also. Changed the ones in the wifes' Yukon also & it makes a big difference.

Scott, does your dimmer work anymore after the LED swap?

It does work, but the effect is not the same or as dramatic as the regular bulbs. It seems the LED bulbs will dim a little bit(maybe 10-15%?) & then go completely out.

Unfortunately, that is the nature of most LED's unless you have an electronic 'dimmer' circuit controlling them.

Yep... diodes as in light emmiting diodes- they are either in an on or off state. So are you sure the dimming circuits out there will work? I've looked at the auto gage one for about 30 bucks.

I am more familiar with the dimming circuits we use for Christmas Lights. Not sure on automotive applications.......

The auto gage is designed for LED's in auto applications. But I've read out there might have some issues using them in certain applications in older cars. I just might experiment though as Id like to find out for all who are considering the conversion.
