yard finds, '73 4 door Delta, '64 Wildcat, '58 Impala, '68 Delmont 88

Found these over the last week or so. '68 Delmont 88 more door, nice blue interior, minimal rust, 350 2bbl orig engine, 80,000 miles.

'73 Delta, also a more door. 350 with performer intake.

'58 Impala with a 350? olds engine, rare sight.

'64 Wildcat, buckets, console with tach, power driver seat, floor shift tilt, drive train gone.
I grabbed the power seat assy. & console, going back for the tilt soon.

Any interest, call me?
Scott

If you go back you should get the passenger side outside door mirror and the dash pad if good. From the Delmont.

Why the heck would anyone scrap those 4-doors?

Scott, I could use the hot air intake tube that runs between the exhaust manifold heat shield and the upper tube with the paddle end (I already have the upper tube with the paddle end that connects to the air cleaner).

I could also use the entire rest of the car, but somehow, I have the feeling that that is not a great idea.

Thanks!

Years back I parted out two 1968 Deltas. Since then I've had several requests for the bumpers and fenders. If the price is right, and you have the time/space to get them I'd encourage that.

Also the local street rodders love those Buick aluminum from drums. If they're usable I'd consider grabbing them. A quick check on ebay sold items show one set sold for $100 then several sets that have sold from $150 to $300 a pair.

Nice heat riser setup on the 1968 Delta. I'd be interested in that if you can get it at a reasonable price. That should have #5 heads on it too which should be easy to sell. I also see the disc in the crank pulley. I'd also be interested in that and the bolts to attach it.

What's the condition of the driver's side headlight bezel? If it's not pitted, I'd be very interested. I don't need the passenger side. Just the driver's.

Thanks.

Oh yeah, Scott, I could also use the complete rear half of the hood release cable and pull from the '73 (from the intact cable connector on the front fender back to the pull in the kick panel). You have to get the fender liner out to release the rubber grommet from the firewall, and have to snap the cable out of the kick panel, but if you can get it, I'd be interested.

Hey guys. I'm going back to the yard with the '73 Delta & the '64 Wildcat, hopefully on Monday. I'll try to check out & pull the parts on those cars then.
The '67 Delmont is in another yard about an hour from the first one. I may be able to get back there mid week.

Henry,
I tried to get the mirror while there, but can't get my allen wrench to fit the bolts. I might grab the dash pad when I go back also. I'd like to get the whole car!!
I was told a 80 year old lady died & no title could be found. None of the family was interested in a sweet, running driving car so it will now be parted & scrapped! Good for other owners though I guess.

Eric,
I'm pretty sure I have that same tube from another car. I'll get pix asap. I'll see about that cable also.

John,
Thanks for the info. about the front hubs. I also found that out after I got home. Just hoping no one gets back to her before I do!!! I'll try to get the other parts off that '67 when I go back.

Jaunty,
I think that bezel is pitted? Pm me a phone number where you can get text pictures & I'll send some along when I'm in the yard next, or an email & I'll send them there?

Erik,
Maybe put a post up in the parts wanted section? I will watch for one though.

Tim,
I think you mean the floor mats in the '67? I grabbed those for personal use, sorry.

Bill,
Which 350? '67, '73, or '58?
I have a few running 350s, mostly from mid '70s Oldsmobiles, $350.00 & you come get it?

Eric,
I removed the entire cable & of course as I was pulling it through the firewall, the connector got caught & snapped off one of the white tabs. So I have a complete, broken cable if you want it?
Also, here are some pix of a tube I think is the one you want/need? This one is from a '68 I believe.

John,
I grabbed the drums, one of them is missing a few of the fins, the other, a bit more, but still usable. Coming soon to an ebay near you.

Dan,
Pitted.

Because you don't know that isn't a 1958 impala! It is a 1958 just not a impala. By the chrome removed it appears to be a Delray.

It is a Delray which was bottom of the pecking order. Based on the missing hood emblem it was a 6 cylinder too. All 58 Impalas were coupes or convertibles. Man I would love to have those bucket seats out of the Wildcat for another project I have. Those things bring some pretty good money on those look pretty good.

1968 Delmont

Scott,
If you could please, I'm very interested and in need of front bumper on 68 Delmont. Could take all grill work and light bezels, but bumper most important.
Thank you.

If they're good, I could use the hood hinges from the Delmont. PM me, thanks.

Kenny,
I'll check for numbers & let you know. There are a couple guys ahead of you but I have a couple of these tubes also.
Redoldsman,
I'll check the price on those seats & let you know. The driver side is missing the power seat track, but I will have it for sale at some point. Thanks for serving.
Joe,
I hope to be back at this yard Saturday morning to pull the parts we discussed.
jhoppe,
pm sent.
MarkDavid,
I will see if I can get those next time I'm there. You might also start a thread in the parts wanted section. I belive Eric(MDchanic) or Jaunty might be able to help you on those lenses.
