M20/AutoGear 4 speed

I pulled this trans. to install the LGT-700. Complete AutoGear Supercase, with steel mid-plate, tailshaft housing. Trans. was rebuilt 5000 miles back, shifts perfect, guts are mostly original Muncie with AutoGear 1st and mainshaft. The side cover is Muncie.
This was the original trans. in my '71 442, so it's 26 spline input, 32 spline output.
$850 is a steal for this unit, the Autogear case, tailshaft entension and steel midplate sell for over $700..

850 for the trans. crated, and ready to ship, I estimate 100 bucks to ship UPS
The shifter is not for sale..

Please PM any questions.

Also, the rebuilt driveshaft and bellhousing are available.

How do you like the Keisler ss 700?
Have you track tested both transmissions what were your findings?

The SS700 performs way better than the M20, shifts smoother, close ratio, and OD. No, I haven't had it out the the track yet, but the trans is good for 700 lbs of torque, so I won't have to baby 1st like I did with the Muncie.

The trans. fits without any mods to the tunnel, crossmember is moved back maybe 2", and a shorter driveshaft is required, (included in the kit).
I'm just running a 461, so not big hp or torque, but still big enough to tear out 1st gear with the original Muncie case, the Autogear case is supposed to fix that, but no OD, which will be nice on the 2014 Power Tour

The 5 speed is the ticket if you drive your car a lot on the street, makes it a whole lot more enjoyable. I seen the video of the ss700 on you tube looks to be the way to go if going 5 speed very nice unit. Thanks for all reply's.
