"1970 Olds 442 455 W-30 eng/trans - $6000 (Dallas, TX)

prqs3-4055273265@sale.craigslist.omg
Change-omg-to-obvious-correct-thing

1970 Olds 442 455 Engine and Trans. Completely refurbished to all Factory Specs. Even color. Only run on Dyno. The best of everything. The trans is bolted to the other 455 I have, but, goes with the package. Engine Casting No. 396021F Heads are Casting No. 404438. (F-Code). The Intake is correct No. 406115, down to the Rochester Carb No. 704258. I will reply only to emails that contain the subject 442/455 as to quash the spammers. Send name and number and I will reply asap. Thanks.

PS I have several 1970 Olds parts as well. If you see it....it is still for sale.
Location: Dallas, TX"

The trans part is confusing
It sounds like you are getting a different [auto?] trans, not the one shown attached to the pretty blue engine.

I think you get the 4-spd attached to the pretty blue engine, and the engine w/carb/breather is the W30 engine, shown w/o trans.

I guess considering the separate cost of the heads, carb and intake that's not too bad of a price. But, what about the distributor, and it looks to have the wrong valve covers, cooling fan and alternator.

w30 engine

Interesting...... it says pick up only. So do you head to Dallas for the craigslist ad, or Arizona for the ebay ad ??

He had the same ad on the Phoenix Craigslist with a local number a few months ago. The whole thing seems fishy

I didn't even notice, one engine has chrome valve covers the other painted. One has a painted manifold the other aluminum. Probably someone else's images.

By the way I have a W30 engine in my car but if you want I'll sell you the 1973 98 engine I have for the same price but you can tell your friends its a W30 engine
