The top of the inner jamb is shaped differently, and there are a few other notches that are differenmt,to clear the posts.I have also seen NOS door skins that were made for the post coupe, and again, the majority probably didn't know the difference without comparing them to a hardtop skin.

Expensive.. ? I guess.. an nos rear 1/4 will cost you around $1500. The passenger side could be $3000+
If you have a post coupe, you'll have to make the modifications for a regular 1/4 to work. Cut the vent, notch the top, etc. If you have a good body guy who understands the differences, and can do an excellent job, cut, fill, sand, how much will that cost ? We're also talking about the largest body panel on the car, besides the hood. Not a temp sender for $4-500, that not many see or know the difference.
What's the cost relative to the restoration? People often pay huge bucks to their body shop, and are usually at their mercy on timing and cost. Yet, on important, hard to find parts, they nickle and dime, looking for months or years to save a few bucks. What's your time worth ?
When we see radiator caps, air filters, and other meaningless nos parts going for hundreds and thousands, I think this part is well worth the money. Then again, asking price and getting paid are two different things. Haven't seen any money yet, and I'm guessing I'll end up keeping it for now.......
