More NOS/very nice used mostly '70-'72 parts. unusual stuff.

11-26-2012 Some items sold & price drops on some of the remaining stock.

Still sorting out some of the parts I got a couple weeks ago & here are some more nice or NOS items. All prices are plus shipping & I will combine shipping.
Check the pictures carefully & I can get more detailed info/pictures of anything.

Three NOS AC PF30 oil filters. These are the white ones that I think originally came on a lot of cars from the late '60's to mid '70's. The boxes are a bit tattered & beat up, & two of the filters have some TINY specks of rust on the bare metal part, but will clean up easily & look very nice otherwise. Like to get $100.00 each. SOLD

NOS Dash wiring harness for the optional courtesy light package. $30.00. SOLD

NOS blower motor capacitor with attached harness. $20.00 SOLD

Two new washer jar caps. $5.00 each.

New rear coil spring insulator. $5.00.

Four new bucket seat bumper. Visible when you tilt the seat forward. $10.00 a pair, or $15.00 for all 4.SOLD

New Gas cap, oil cap, & radiator cap, $5.00 each. SOLD

NOS dashpot for carburetor. $75.00. SOLD

Nice used dashpot $45.00. SOLD

New high beam headlight switch $10.00 SOLD

New Thermactor switch, small round plastic piece inside the air cleaner $20.00

Six new door strikers $15.00 each.

Two horn contact kits, small spring & plunger & plastic ring $5.00 each. SOLD

New GM timing gear with nylon teeth. $15.00

Two oil pressure switches, terminals are not exactly like factory & they are for the cars WITHOUT the rallye pack(gauges) $10.00 each.

Two NOS coolant temp switches $15.00 each.

Two NOS pcv valves CV679C $7.00 each.

One NOS wiper motor shaft, from inside the motor to the wiper linkage $15.00.

Two NOS '70 Cutlass fender emblems G.M. parts $40.00 for the pair. SOLD

Two rubber elbows for the pcv system. $5.00 each. SOLD

New or NOS distributor vacuum advance $15.00. SOLD

Nice used starter brace & shield $25.00 for the pair. SOLD

Crank case breather filter G.M. $18.00.

New jack hook with wing nut $15.00 for the pair. SOLD

New hood insulation square push in clips. $5.00 for the bag. SOLD

New repro radiator & heater hose clamps. $10.00 for the set. SOLD

NOS G.M. antenna lead from windshield to radio $25.00. SOLD

Nice, pretty clean original voltage regulator with correct cover $20.00.

New repro voltage regulator $30.00.

New under hood vacuum line with white stripe $5.00. SOLD

New washer hose $5.00. SOLD

Nice used vacuum switch for non AC cars? $15.00. SOLD

New repro front license plate bracket $18.00.

New '70 Cutlass license plate frame $7.00. SOLD

New repro 4 bbl throttle cable $50.00. SOLD

Misc. radiator tags OR, OU, & WS $10.00 each. SOLD

In the third link, about in the middle is a rubber elbow which connects into the factory breather element in the valve cover, pictured in the right corner of same picture.

How does that elbow connect to the air cleaner? Is another hose needed? Is that the same hose that comes from the air cleaner?

A metal vent pipe (black in color and with a slight bend in the middle) connects to the rubber elbow. The other end of the pipe is connected to different elbow in the air cleaner base.

You can see the vent pipe in 4th link, top middle. The pipe for a 350 cid is slightly shorter than one for a 455.

I need the elbow from that valve cover breather, and the elbow piece in the forth link that connects to the air cleaner. Not sure what you call them, pm me with price?

If they've both been sold, do you still have have pictures, maybe I can use the part number to find them elsewhere. Also, are both horn contact kits been sold?

Thank You.

I bought a few things Scott offered above, and all were received in described or better condition. Great service, too

Kay,
Here is a picture of the customs label, I shipped it out on November 26th. This is the first I've heard about this part not making it there, besides the pm. The pm hit my mailbox at 11:53 last night & I was working all day today & just saw it a little bit ago. Maybe you can input the number at the top of the label & see if it's in their system. I am going to ship some parts tomorrow, I'll take the label & see if they can tell me anything on this end.
Please feel free to get back with me in a day or two?
Thanks.
Scott

Hey Scott,

I wrecked the last spring trying to take it out. So both would be great. If you could pull something out whenever you have time that would be great!

Cheers,

It is sold, one of the guys from Inline tube bought it at a show recently. I have several nice used ones though if that will do.
Still trying to get the codes for you too.

Hi Scott.

Let me get back to you on the wiring harness. Thought it would be nice to have new wiring for the courtesy lights. Not sure if we have a used wiring harness or it's condition. How much would it be just in case we do need it? Thanks for checking on the axle codes.

Tony,
Here are a couple pix of a good wiper arm. It needs a good cleaning, but the spring just has surface rust & should be good for many years to come.
$25.00 shipped?

Man if I didn't know you better this is just like the response you'd get from a lot of those scam artists who are working on a drilling rig offshore.... How's the Cutlass build going Tony? Haven't seen much from you about the car. Take that spring out and bead blast, it will look like new. Spray it with clear to keep it from rusting again. That wiper arm can be buffed up like new.

Hey Al,

Car is actually going great! I got sick an tired of doing thing half assed so I stripped the car of all trim, doors, fenders, decklid, chrome. Took the car down to almost bear metal and primed and put down the first coat of DuPont paint.

I have so many pictures but can't upload from a cell phone.....

You going to start a new thread with the build or start a new one under "Body & Paint"? Really looking forward to seeing the before, during and after pics. Just a thought, since you've got the front clip off, why not lift the body and get at that nasty frame? Just got my frame all done yesterday and am waiting a few days for paint to cure before reinstalling brake lines and parts.
