I have a 1965 & 1966 b-body 3:08 posi unit and pinion with the shims in correct order, not hard to install, it's not really voodoo science like some make it out to be. $300 plus I have an extra 1966 Housing that this will bolt into if your car is 67 & up, the housing will bolt-in but 67 & up are different ring gear sizes, both are STRONG rearends. Rearend #2, is a COMPLETE BOLTIN 3:08 POSI HOUSING from a 1967 Buick Wildcat. They are a little different looking housing {more square} and I think the axles are 33 spline instead of Olds 31. Maybe a little stronger. $500 for this one. These posi unit aren't avalible any more and the gears aren't being made either. I changed my 67 Olds 98 from a 2:56 to a 3:08 and it was nite & Day difference. $25 gas discount if pick-up I am near Youngstown, Ohio 44440, near 3 major interchanges. 330 307 3376 or Kenibil@aol.com But wait theres more, Mention this add and when u pick it up I will give u another $20 off
Man, am I a nice guy! Later, Ken |
