330ci COMPLETE RUNNING engine & 10 bolt BOP rear

This winter I will be swapping out my small block & 10 bolt rear end for a big block and 12 bolt rear. My current setup will be up for sale when they come out, so I'm trying to possibly find a buyer before they come out so they can be tested while in the car. both will be removed from the car in February 2013. Here is what I have:

1965 Olds 330ci High Compression V8....108,000 original miles, stock cam, stock #2 cast iron heads, pedestal-style factory rockers, stock valvetrain, Edelbrock 650cfm Performer 4bbl carb, Performer intake manifold, HEI billet distributor w/ vacuum advance, stock forged steel crank & pistons, hi-flow water pump, M/T polished aluminum finned valve covers, polished aluminum finned air cleaner, Thornton 350JR brand new dual exhaust manifolds, chrome water neck, black 100amp alternator, factory Saginaw power steering pump, pulley's, all accessory brackets, oil pan and flex fan. The motor as no major leaks, except for the oil pan drain plug. The bottom of the pan is dented slightly and it causes the drain plug to have a slow leak. It's only a drip here and there, doesn't seem to affect oil level at all. All other gaskets seem to be fine. There is some seepage visible in some spots, but the motor is very dry overall. Runs strong, no knocking, there may be a little bit of valve noise which could need adjustment, but over all, great drop in ready to run motor. Factory power on this motor with single exhaust was 315hp, this particular motor is probably right around 325-330hp with the mild performance mods and dual exhaust. full overhaul about 10 years ago with LESS than 5,000 since then. Asking $2,500 for the motor.

BOP 8.2" 10 bolt rear end....fresh drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, brake lines all done this year. No leaks, fresh paint, 3.08 gears w/ limited slip POSI. No clicks, no slips, turns good, solid rear for what it is. Asking $500 for the rear complete.

yup...new fuel pump, new sending unit & new filter took care of that issue. my old pump was not pumping sufficient volume during extended WOT conditions. she runs like a top now....only reason i'm selling is to make way for the BB i'm dropping in.

Nice! Good luck with selling your stuff, If you were closer I'd be interested in the rear.

thanks man!! both motor and rear are strong & ready to go. i have put LESS than 1000mi/year on this car since the overhaul and performance upgrades. electric choke still works perfectly on the carb, cold starts & warm starts are fine. i'll probably offer the springs, air shocks, SSM traction bars along with the rear for another $200 or so. shocks and springs are both less than 2 years old.

i can also arrange freight shipping for any potential buyer if they are not familiar with doing that themselves or just don't want to deal with it. i work in the shipping industry so it's not a problem at all.

bumpski.....also want to add a FRESH TH350 w/ Transgo stage 1 shift kit, less than 1000mi since rebuild, less than 2 years ago. shifts rock hard under acceleration but smooth at cruise speeds, no leaks, includes dipstick & 2200 stall converter. asking $600 for trans.

rear end is SOLD!!!!

MOTOR STILL AVAILABLE, PRICE NEGOTIABLE. motor is running strong right now, beter than ever!! i drove the car around my area for an hour and a half straight this past weekend, never went over 200 degrees, stayed mostly between 170-180. oil pressure was around 30-40 during idle & around 40-60 under acceleration....check out 1st & 2nd gear layed down over the weekend:
