Arrow 1972 Olds Dealer Album Ext/Int Color Selctions - UPDATE July7th 2PM PRICE REDUCTION

---- UPDATED Sat July7th2012 @ 2PM ----

For those NOT in a hurry and/or panic to get this .....

I WILL REDUCE THE PRICE OF THIS TO $125 SHIPPED.

For those too bashful to make an offer ... I think that's a pretty fair deal for it.

I will NOT be able to ship until Friday the 13th ...

But I will ship at a LATER date for the superstitious.

=============================

There are basically (4) sections to this.

1 - 1972 Olds Interiors.

This had the available interior colors by model. They have lil' sample color swatches as well as some photos of the different model's interiors.

See pics 17-19 below for an example of that.

This section is 54 pages cover to cover total.

At the end of this ... there are (2) pages on options/accessories. There are on pages 52-53 in the Olds album. They are shown in pic 16 below.

Some minor soiling/discoloration on the front cover.

No other major faults to mention on this section.

2 - 1972 Olds Exterior Colors

The shows the available exterior colors.

This is broke down into (2) sections.

Intermediate colors & full size colors.

This piece has some flaws.

The worst of it is (3) of the paint chips at the end of the full size color chips section

More specifically ... the most obvious being the Bamboo & Matador Red chips ... with some lessor damage to the backside of the Nutmeg chip.

Any other flaws in this section are more minor in nature.

Do note - I took DETAILED pics of these issues ... so you can see & judge them for yourself. Also included are pics of some minor wear & tear of this section.

All of these pics are pics 22-28 below.

3 - Vinyl Roof Colors

This piece has some minor soiling & discoloration.

4 - Accent Paint Stripes Sheet

This shows the available accent stripes for the intermediate models.

5 - The Binder Itself.

This is in very nice shape.

Some minor dust on the inside binder area .....

And one small white mark that can be seen in the inside top LH corner of the small flap where the paint chip & vinyl top cards tuck into.

The mark may come out ... but I'm not going to force it.

This can be seen in pics 1 & 2.

=======================

Please be sure to click on & view ALL the thumbnails so they can be viewed at FULL size.

As described above ... the exterior paint chip section is the only part of this that can really be criticized here.

If one were wanting wanted this to be displayed with their 72 Olds at a car show ... I don't see the paint chip issues being a major deal breaker.

The way I see it ...

Would you really leave a rare 40 y/o piece of literature laying around for any & every one passing by to willfully thumb thru it & put their grubby lil' mitts all over it ?.

I certainly wouldn't ... I would probably keep this stuff displayed in something else that was clear see-thru & protective of the elements, not to mention from those that live by "the five finder discount". Ya' never know when rain/wind and/or some dishonest thief might ruin your day at a car show.

Furthermore ... unless you car is a full size in Bamboo or Matador Red ... you really wouldn't have the need to have the paint chips open to either one of those colors right ?.

Price wise ... I am bit conflicted as to where to start on this.

This is one of those very tough to find things I never wanted to part with ... so it's NOT something I want to keep bumping up every week for several weeks let alone months.

I'd rather make a deal on this SOONER rather than later ... makes it easier to deal with vs dragging it out.

With that said .....

How about $175 shipped to the lower 48 with a strong emphasis on willing to listen to REASONABLE offers ?.

PayPal only please & be ready - willing & able to pay once we agree to a price.

Thanks for looking.

There are (28) pics all total.

They will be posted in (2) batches of (14) each.

1st batch of (14) pics :

Tried to change/add PRICE REDUCTION to the thread title ....

But I don't think it worked.

Lowered asking price.
