new 70-72 trunk lid for sale -- discounted
Well,
I bought this repro trunk lid to have it painted and put on this summer. Last week I backed into the box it came in. It now has a small dent (see photos) trunk has never been used or out of the box (except to take these photos.) It came in black primer. Under side of trunk is not affected at all. Because I do not do body work or paint, I thought perhaps someone on this site who does could buy the trunk at a discounted price and fix it themself for free. The price for me to have someone repair it is not worth the cost, so if you want it let me know. Searching the net, it appears these trunk lids (price plus shipping) seem to be anywhere from $450-$500, depending on the seller. I am willing to sell mine for $265.00, plus a small shipping fee(would probably come by bus). If shipping is more than $20 or so, then I will pay the rest. Or someone could pick it up if you are so inclined. I live near the Dallas, TX. area.
