Rare olds dealer flags

I have a pair of Oldsmobile Rocket dealer flags. These flags would hang outside of the dealer on a regular flag pole holder. They came out of a Oldsmobile/John Deere dealer that was still operating in a town of about 35 people until GM dumped Olds. I really hate to get ride of them but I am not an Olds guy and would like to see them go to someone who would give them the proper love and affection. I would like to sell them as a pair. The are in good shape with some very slight discoloration. I would like to get $450.00 OBRO plus shipping for the pair. You can reach me at nova7579@yahoo.com and put Olds dealer flags in the subject line or I will not open it.
ThanX
Brian

Hey - Be nice to CutlassGal.

She didn't say anything bad about your prices, just that she was surprised at how much she might be able to get for her own flags.

I'll say something about your prices: They're out of line, but good luck anyway.

- Eric

WOW....What a nice bunch of guys and gals you have around here.....ONCE AGAIN....IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE PRICE MOVE ON....this kind of behavior should not be allowed in the for sale section. I visit many of these sites and several have a "mind your own business policy" in the for sale sections.

I for one like it when people comment on whether the price is fair or not.

This is a very nice bunch of guys and a few gals around here. This site if for people interested in Oldsmobiles. You are interested in selling something and you come on here and insult somebody who meant you no harm. I hope you never sell your flags. Sounds like you are the one who should move on.

I am still trying to see what CutlassGal said that was "negative"...

Unfortunately, this is against the rules of the "for sale" section. An item is worth whatever someone will pay for it.

Well I apologize..... didn't mean anything negative. I was just surprised that these flags could bring that kind of money. I had no idea what they're worth.

You don't know that they will. You only know what's being asked for them.

I love it when people join forums just to sell stuff. You should have to be a member of a site for 6 months before you can post things for sale.

Anyone can spam post to get their post count up.

But what do I know. I've only been lurking the forum for a couple of years...

Wow that me feel like I was on ROP. Easy, ROP calls us yawners because we like classics. I do both, Cruise and Race.

It says OBO. So if you think they aren't worth the $450, you can offer whatever you like.
I do this all the time on craigslist. Olds motor, 500, obo. If the only offer I get is $200, and I want it gone, that's what it goes for.
