'87 200-4R transmission 200R4

I pulled this trans from a from a rusted beyond saving '87 Monte LS grandma car. The 305 in front of it was a real leaker, didn't clean trans prior to taking pics. Yes it's a dual bolt pattern trans, all 200R4's were. Trans shifted good (stock good) thru all gears when I drove it home.

Was saving this for my '71 Cutlass but went with a 4L80E trans instead.

Code on the tag is CRF. Includes converter, dipstick & tube, TV cable, output yoke, electrical connector - can't get much more complete than that!

We can pull the pan if you want to inspect it. Trans in NY on Long Island approx 30 min from NYC.

$200 but will listen to reasonable offers. These are getting harder to find and unmolested units even harder.

Will consider a T44 hood lock cable & underdash lever in partial trade (don't need the latch)

There's 3 types of bellhousing configurations.

Not every period GM RWD trans was issued with all 3 patterns. Rumor some very early ones were BOP only but have never seen one anywhere.

It's a lot like the 403 Olds SMW myth

If you have a non uni-case 200-4R or access to one I'd love to have a picture for the collection.

FWIW, the 200-4R I got out of an 87 Monte SS had the universal pattern. bolted right up to my 350.

What would you ask, shipped to 83686? Failing that, what do you want for the converter?

Cheapest shipping would be to find a hotshotter on uship, find a guy with a pickup truck heading your way.

If you want to try to find one I can prep it eg drain fluids, wrap in stretchwrap. Pickup zipcode would be Glen Cove, NY 11542.

I've seen 200-4R weight quoted at 125, might be a little light.

Let me look into shipping. Would you consider just the converter?

I wouldn't need the convertor, and I can pick up

If Redog takes it, I'd still like the converter if possible.

It is NOT like the 403 SMW myth. Here's a photo of a BOP-only 200-4R:
