OK Denny, this weekend I'll take some photos of the shifters I have to see if I have the parts you need. John

Does the 1965 Cutlass 4 door have the large tailpiece trim or the simple 3 pc f85 trim between the taillights? I want the f85 style.

Thanks

Is your 64 F-85 a 2 door post? I am weighing the cost of repairing or replacing the doors. I live in Dallas. Also looking for the center chrome piece that goes accross the front of the hood and the pass side front fender chrome piece thats shaped like a hockey stick. Thanks

Denny, I looked at the diagram you posted and it looks like both the items you need are part of the "T" handle. The shifters I have don't have the "T" handles. Sorry,

ALLDUNS, I have an F85 4 door but it has the single wide trim between the tail lights just as the Cutlass.

Snowdog, I have three of them but they all have bumps in the chrome. I'll get some pictures posted for you soon.

therobski yes my 1964 parts car is a post car and the doors look good. I've never shipped doors and don't know the best way to ship them from Oregon to Texas. Open to ideas if you have any.

John

Here's some pictures of the rear tail panels I have. Numbers 1 and 2 have more bumps than #3, but they are bigger on #3. They all have good mounting studs and I don't see any dents or damage aside from the bumps and the emblem being removed from #2. Let me know if you'd like to see closeups of any of them. John

Denny, here's what I have at this time. I don't see the items you need. Have you posted a parts wanted ad on the 1965 site yet?

Your best bet would probably be Greyhound, the only draw back is that the doors will have to be dropped off at the bus station and the buyer needs to be at the receiving bus station when they arrive. You will need to pack it just like your shipping with any other carrier.

Hello Steven
Here's a couple photos from a 1970 dash. I'm thinking your needing the vents in the front of the dash and the rear intake for them. Is this correct? Also did you get the floor piece at the base of the steering column yet? John

I've had several friends ship stuff thru greyhound with good results. They would basically just wrap the part in cardboard versus building a box for it.

yes John those are the two parts, if they both have both tabs still intact for the screws, the black plastic feeder should have two plastic tabs in the inside for the metal vents to screw into. The vents should have two tabs as well. Both my vent and the feed tube only have one tab each. Yes, I have the black plastic carpet cover for near the steering column

Hi Rumblewagen, I've not had time to pull the glass yet but here's a picture of the middle of the dash

Let me know if your still interested in a section out of the dash.

Stevegerard, I don't see any damage to the parts. If you want a price including shipping send me a PM with your address.

rumblewagen, price would be based on the time it takes to cut it out for you. Let me get that done then add shipping and I'll give you a price. Would you give me more specifics on how large a piece you want? I'd hate to cut it too small! John

Looks like 12" centered on the antenna connector, 1/2" to 1" below speaker grill, and a line across the bottom edge of the antenna opening.

The rust has also spread about an 1-1/2" down the metal that makes up the top of the inside firewall.

FWT65W29 I'm sorry I don't have any good eyebrow pieces.

hmodel88, sorry I don't have one of those at this time. If you haven't created a parts wanted post yet I would suggest you do. Also, I know the Buick used 3 spoke wheels for several years. I don't know if the 1968 Olds three spoke is the same or not, but they both use the same horn button as the 4 spoke wheels.

69 442 400 "C" head

John,

I'm the guy you sent the 69 442 fender piece to. Thanks again. I took my disassembled engine to the machine shop for work and he called today and let me know that one of the heads had a crack. I went to see and it is cracked. Do you have a rebuildable 'C' head for a 69 442 400. I know you are aware of some differences and which one I need. Thanks and let me know. (Engine only had 69,000 mi and very little wear, but a cracked head. Just my luck)

I need the door mouldings and the rear wheel well trim pieces for my 1966 cutlass 442. Do you have any exterior mouldings or wheel well pieces for the 66? Clint in Portland, OR.

Hi Ross
I replied to your thread of parts wanted. I'll try to dig through my heads tomorrow after work and see what I can come up with.

Clint, I have the wheel well moldings but if I remember right they're not perfect. I'll dig them out and send you some pictures. John

64-olds-f85 do you need just behind the wheel well or all the way to the door? How high up, to the deck lid or just the body line? I have a 4 door that I believe is the same from behind the wheel well if that would work for you, I would need to check its condition in the daylight though.

Wasted, yes I believe I have an extra air cleaner. I'll need to look in the next couple evenings after work. Also, I read your thread about getting an OAI hood, congrats! those really look nice. Many years ago I got a hood but couldn't afford the air cleaner top, I think this was before they started to repop them. Supercarsunlimited suggested I purchase a small lid for the air cleaner and the foam ring, then skip the large air cleaner top cover and glue the foam ring to the top edge of the air cleaner housing. It didn't look as nice, but it functioned OK.

4fortwo, I've got some shifters but I'll have to check. Do you know the part number stamped in the 1968-69 handles?

oldsmohaulic, what year/model of car are you working on?

No i need the whole wheel well opening with outer (wheelhouse?) lip. I just picked up that term i hope im using it right. In 15 years of shade treeing on cars ive never heard that before. Anyhow i think i would be better off with a full 1/4 panel. Mine is pretty mangled from the bottom to the body line. Do you normally get in new goodies? If you do i can check back periodically.
