w31???
hi
i have a 1969 350 with #5 cylinder heads and i think it is a w31 eng. how would i tell and whats it worth??. if anyone is interested let me know. it is currently in a newer gbody car and could easily be driven away for the right price. |

All '69 350s had #5 heads....the W31s has larger 455 valves. Also a hotter cam and flat top pistons. The easiest way to tell without a teardown is check the harmonic dampener. W-31 dampeners were larger than norm...about 7 1/4" tall and 2" deep. Also check for distributor number 1111930 and carburetor number 7029255.
