1969 Delta 88
I have a '69 Delta 88 with the original 455 and TH400. The car has AC, PS, PB. It does not have disc brakes. It has a 12 bolt...not sure if it's a posi or not.
The interior is in nice condition with a little mildew/mold on it. I will sell parts or the whole car. I have a clear title for it. The car has plenty of dings and bumps. Does anyone need anything from it? |

Welcome to the site! Please add your city and state so folks can get an idea if shipping would be an option or too expensive for big and heavy parts. John

Updated Profile
Thanks John for pointing that out. I have updated my profile to show my location. I'm paranoid about providing too much information.

I understand, and usually I'll share my telephone number or email address through a PM rather than post them here. I trust all the Olds guys I've talked with, but who knows when a spammer will be trolling through!

I'm not an olds expert...more of a chevelle person, but I bought this car expecting it to be a '69 Cutlass and it turned out to be a '69 Delta 88. I guess he didn't know the difference. I couldn't turn him down. After all, who can say no to an old man? I already spent $100 in fuel and I hate hauling an empty trailer.
I hope there are a few people that could use some pieces off of it. I'm surprised at the lack of interest in the "big" 2 door cars. |

Alas but your last statement rings so true. The B bodies are a forgotten part of Olds history for so many, but that leaves more for us.

easy way to tell if it's a posi, since it has a 455...take it out into the street, sit still, and MASH the gas pedal to the road...then get out and count either 1 or 2 black streaks

It left 4 black marks and my neighbors have followed them to my house! It must be a 4WD.
I think a brake job is in it's future. |

Those are pretty cars. Oldsguy used to own one. Actually, he just sold it recently. Eventhough they are land barges they can get up and go.
BTW, do you have an asking price for the car? Just wondering. Post pics if you have them. |
