62 Olds 394 Engine and Transmission for Sale

[64 Olds Dynamic 88]

I have a 1962 Olds 394 engine (F307192L) with transmission (064-19596) for sale. They were in a 1964 olds dynamic 88 that I purchased in May of last year. The engine originally belonged in a 1962 olds but ran great in my 64. I am having me 64 olds restored and found an original 64 olds engine/transmission to put in it when it is complete and therefore no longer need the 62 394 engine/transmisssion. The engine had a lot of work done by the previous owner of my car in 2002. I have the receipt. It doesn't look like a complete rebuild but close to it. There have only been about 6,000 miles put on the car since the engine rework. The transmission was reconditioned in 2003. The powertrain ran great in the car and has no performance issues. It's pretty much ready to be reinstalled and started up. It's currently sitting in a shop in Forrester, Michigan.
I'm asking $4,000 for the engine with transmission.
