Might be parting out 68 or 69 98
The junker I was talking about a week or two ago, I talked the guy down to $150 (not a bad price to pay for a spare 455 that i can rebuild, spare t-400 I can rebuild, and the rear end core for my drag car, even if it isn't a posi i can buy the posi unit seperately). It's a 68 or 69 4 door, I'll be parting it out as soon as I buy it. engine, transmission, rear axle & differential will be spoken for.
None of the body panels are good. Glass is good, but I'm not gonna mess with it. Emblems, lamp covers, grille is good, side mirror is good. Bumpers are rusty, but you may be able to sand blast them down. Let me know in advance if you might want something off this car, because I'm only going to spend one day tearing the filthy thing apart, then it's gonna get scrapped. I'll try and pull off parts you want and give you a hell of a deal on them. Even if you aren't sure, let me know and I'll tear it off. If you change your mind, I'll dump it in a dumpster if nobody else wants it, haha. I probably won't pull interior pieces, because the thing's nasty, but you can list them...I'll see about it. If you want to see pictures, look for my thread in the Ninety-Eight section of the forums. Question: Would any of you Olds junker junkies know what gears this might possibly have in it? I really don't want to paint the gears and watch them turn and guesstimate what it's got. |

looks like i'm not going to get the car. i found an alternative (and much, much easier & better) solution for my Cutlass, and i'd rather put the $150.00 towards that.
