Help with name of color

Help with name of color

Ok you guy that collect books. I see this stuff at flea markets and walk on by. I painted a 1967 cutlass years ago 20 to 25 and can't rember the name of the color Old age???? I was younger then lol. It was that pale yellow. with yellow top an inter. It was pretty. like to paint my 98 that color so please help. Thanks Tinman

Did it look like this:







I believe Copper128 is correct. It's the one in the third column, second from the bottom, "Saffron."

I have a '67 Delta 88 painted the same color, although the paint on my car has faded somewhat. The body cowl tag has paint code "Y", which would correspond to Saffron.

Ah yes that is the color.Thank you very much. Love the 88 looks very nice in that color. Thanks tinman

See April 1967 Hot Rod, "4 of a Kind" test of 3 4-4-2s and a Turnpike Cruiser. They raved about the Saffron car.
