looking for a decent 2 stage metallic bright red

hi

i wanna spray my 67 cutlass supreme with a 2 stage metallic bright red, but cant find a similar paint color/code(from any manufacturer)

does anyone have any suggestions for paint colors/paint codes?

The best reds are three stage ort tri-coats. Check out some of the 06 and newer Lexus reds. Not anything better out there IMO

Thats a great idea, i will!

im going by the paint shop to check out a panel they are spraying now..

its a 2006 Dodge ram color called INFERNO RED code RJ/ARJ

its actually a bad color to photograph, as the metallic gold flake doesnt stand out. im going to check it out in person first.

If that is the color I think it is it looks too pinkish in the sunlight IMO.

i went to the shop, checked out a panel and decided the color seemed too burgundy, even under sunlight.

instead, i've decided to forget the metallics and go straight red..

torch red WA9075 is a GM color, and i really liked how bright it was when i saw it years ago.

here's what it looks like:

picked up the body, and boy is that red...red!

the wifes old 2000 Monte Carlo was Torch Red. Yep... super BRIGHT!

'70 Cutlass had a red colour called 'Rally Red' and it is pretty bright... but, alas you are already coloured...
