Engine paint

I would like to hear your opinions on Bill Hirsch(or other brands) engine paint. I want to repaint my 69 400 engine with the most original color/ shade and resistance to fluid spills that is currently available.
Thanks
Jerry

I think Hirsch is the best. From past threads on this subject, I think many others will agree.

redoldsman, I like your photo. I also am a Viet Nam Vet and I was an Aircraft mech(reciep eng) in the USAF
Assuming that you have used Hirsch engine paint, did you also use his primer and how does it hold up to fluid spills ie oil, fuel and or brake fluid?
Thanks for your reply
Jerry

Thanks for the compliments. I was in the USAF from 1966 to 1970. I used Hirsch paint on my 54 and it has held up very well. I sprayed it with the engine in the car. I did not use primer and don't think it is necessary.
