The radiator overflow hose nipple is missing on my 1972 Cutlass 455. After inspecting it, it doesn't look like anything was broken off, nor do I see any threads in there to screw in a fitting. Is this common? Do I have to flare/solder in a tube? Im tired of filling the radiator up.
Any help would be great! |

If you want to keep your overflow system, you will have to solder/repair it with a new tube.
If it's a plastic tank, I'd just plug it with a rubber washer and a machine screw&nut. Obviously, you can't solder onto plastic.
