Thumbs down Boneyard Closing

One of the local junkyards is closing up shop and crushing everything for the metal. They have sold the land and there are car crushers setting up this week. I was talking to the nightwatchman the other day and they are throwing a huge bonfire party right in the middle of the boneyard tonight and they invited me to come party. I am bringing a digital camera there over the next few days and taking Oldsmobile pictures. I will try and get them posted as soon as I can just in case there is that one part that you need and will probably never be able to find again. I can only imagine what is going to happen later on with an alcohol fueled crowd surrounded by smashables.

Update.

Update.
I combed the jyard for cool cars and there was nothing really special. A couple 84 & 85
4door delta royale & royalebroughams. One of them looked so nice I couldn't believe it was even in there. Perfect paint and bumpers, new tires, w/ owners manuals still in the glovebox. The hood hinges were obviously never oiled and the hood was bent into an "A" May very well be the reason it's there. If it was a 2 door I would have taken it home with me heh heh blessing in disguise i guess. Thought I saw a 70s cutlass in the 5 foot grass but when I got to it, ...was a Cordoba.
The place was mostly school busses, box trucks and FORDS haha.
The owner will be there today so I'll ask him what kind of jewels he thinks he has.
