R12 AC work in MN
Hello, my 1979 Olds regency 98 has an R12 system, AC no longer blows cold. I have a supply of R12. how do I find a mechanic who is licensed for R12/able to work on my car? I brought it to a local repair shop but they wouldn't touch it. I live near twin cities in MN. Thanks

If you have R12 why don't you do the work yourself? Replace all the o-rings, pull a vacuum, then recharge the system. I did this years ago and bought the necessary equipment (vacuum pump, gauges, flush gun, oil, and R12) for less that I would have paid someone to do the work for me.
