I am currently looking at a 1975 4-4-2 I know that its a cutlass S car but it also has all the
4-4-2 Badges on it. According to the build tag on the firewall it did come with a 4-4-2 package but I need to know how many of those cars came from the factory as 4-4-2's thanks a lot

In response to your production question... there are varying numbers due to poor recordkeeping in that year . I have seen as many as 3500 listed as a total amount of 442 optioned cars for 1975, and as little as 2900. Either way, the w-29 option for 1975 was a rare added feature on 1975 Cutlass`s.The package was styling, and handling only.I am still trying to pinpoint a more exact number for production, and if I find it,I will post. Info is very VERY difficult to come by for that year 442.I have owned one, and am in the process of buying another. Word has it, there may be as little as 500 AUTHENTIC cars left.Good Luck, and email Me if you get any info, or want any I have.(which is very very little)
