The guy told me it was going to be in Hot Rod and I felt he was telling the truth but was not sure. Thanks for posting it and thanks for hooking me up with it. I still have not cleaned it or done anything to it. Just can't bring myself to do it yet. To cool as it is.

I did hook up a battery to it to see how much of the electrical worked and everything but the clock worked.

The 4 speed car is the one on the trailer.

The actual Hot Rod Magazine article will follow in a couple of months.

Congrats and don't wash it, so we can feature it in Barn / Garage finds at MCACN 2016.

Nice find. Those look like old Illinois license plates; circa 1970's I'm guessing. Was it unearthed in Chicago or the suburbs? What is the owner history?

I have very little history on it. The guy from Hot Rod will know more than I do. It was still under its original 1962 title. Lucky for me, Indiana will stamp VOID on the original title and give it back, so I have it with my name as second owner.

Original owner was still with us when Eric purchased the car. I believe he is in his 90s.

The plate is from 1974 when the car was parked in the garage until just recently.
