For a 1962 cutlass

The only external difference between the Buick and Olds versions of the 215 are the heads and valve covers. All bolt holes and mounting locations are exactly the same. I actually have a Buick 215 in my 62 F-85 right now. You DO need to use the Olds flywheel and trans hub on the Buick motor, since the RotoHydramatic 5 has a different input shaft than the Dynaflow. The RH5 does not use a conventional torque converter - there is a fluid coupling internal to the trans. Instead there is an input shaft that looks like the one on a manual trans, so the flywheel has a spring-loaded hub like the center of a manual trans clutch disk.

So I would be able to use this and put my Old's head and valves on it with the Old's fly wheel and id be good to go? Do you know where I could rebuild that Ry5? I have a Old's engine already with the hy5 but don't know where to get it rebuilt or anything .. First project

There are unfortunately few shops who know anything about the RH5 anymore.
Fatsco sells parts to rebuild the trans. They might be able to recommend a rebuilder.

Yes, just bolt on the Olds flywheel and trans. I'd be a little concerned that the broken distributor rotor might indicate an impact to the distributor, with potentially unseen damage.
