1988 IROC-Z Convertible Triple Black 5 Speed

I have a 1988 IROC-Z Convertible for sale. The car is located in Livermore CA 94550 (Northern Cal). It's one of 3,761 IROC Z convertibles built in 1988. Not many were Triple black, or 5 speeds. The car has 95K original miles. Average wear and tear for a 28 year old Camaro. Clean carfax. No accidents, or issues.

Completely rust free unmolested Iroc-Z. Adult owned, well maintained. Always covered, and never smoked in. It was purchased new from Woodward Chevrolet in Fairfield, CA. This car was actually ordered by the dealership not a customer (there is an RPO code for that, but I cannot remember which one).

Original documentation includes the build sheet(?) (something is under the driver seat), the trim sheet, original invoice, and maintenance history going back about 16 years. Just passed California emissions testing with no issues.

The car has Power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, electric trunk, G80 Posi (3.08), and factory R12 a/c that still works (see RPO code list for all options). I do have the original steering wheel which is in excellent condition. I'm only missing the original EQ stereo cassette radio.

The paint is original, but still shines well (car is dusty in pics). Dash pad has no cracks. All options work... lights, accessories.. even the cigarette lighter works. Weather stripping is in good shape. Driver seat shows a lot of wear. Other seats show some sun fade.

Convertible top frame rattles a little with the windows down and the top up (to be expected), but the rattles go away when the windows are up (top works perfectly). The tires are less than half used, and show perfect alignment. Car is tight, handles nice, and runs/drives/shifts very well.

I bought the car from a friend thinking I could relive better days (I owned the same car new). I ended up reinjuring my back, so the car is going.

Not much else to say. It's not a perect IROC by any means, but after nearly 30 years it's still a really nice cruiser. May consider trading for another classic Olds (1949-1964). No sedans, wagons, or projects. Similar value please.
