Which engine is it.
A friend on myspace (a young man 17-22 yrs old) has asked for help in id of his engine. He has a 87 Regince or however it's spelt. Myself a proud owner of a 71 442 convertable. and being older he has requested help.
His brother says it's a 307 but his dad says its a 350 I don't have many detail on the engine much less the car, but any suggestions would be appresheated. the Vin code of the first 5 didgets is as follows. 163AW But since I am not sure how to decode it it doesn't help me but I furguire some of you wizards will know something. Thanks a lot. Chip ------------- Home of a 71 442 convertable. |

The only V8 Oldsmobiles sold in 1987 were the Cutlass Supreme and the Custom Cruiser wagon. In both cases, the only available engine was the 307.
