Cool Delco Part #AFS-20 ? O2 Sensor?

Is this going to be the right part number for my 81 Ninety-Eight? It has a 307 set up for california. I know that the AFS-20 is the common O2 Sensor for the 80s. I just have read so much about not using Bosch sensors because of rough idle. Please confirm.

Still looking

I need to replace this O2 sensor before i put on my new carb. I have gotten a conformation but I need it here from the Olds Heads. And anyone know where I can get some N.O.S. Delco parts? Seems like some of the numbers changed and its getting difficult.

I know Advance Auto (AKA Checker or Kragen) carries AC/Delco. Sorry I can't help on the part number.

FWIW, I used Bosch O2 Sensors in my wife's old Honda and my Mazda truck with no adverse effect.

Found It. Best part is it was only $31. Thought I would keep you updated. AC Delco Part#AFS-23/GM part#25165119. This is a 2 wire Oxygen Sensor on an 81 OLDS 98 REGENCY with a 307 (CA Emissions set up) Hope it helps someone else.

O2 Sensor/Purge Valve

I am not sure of the Cali cars but the only O2 sensors that I have seen were the one wire sensor. I started working for a local Olds in 1984 and I worked on a lot of these vehicles. Very common problem was the purge valve filling up with raw fuel, easy fix, replace. Why you are at it, check the canister filter at the bottom of the canister. It looks like a small pancake made out of fiberglass. When ever I did a carb overhaul, they got a filter and a purge valve.

Also check the canister thermell switch that threads into the top of the intake manifold, a lot of times the cap is missing and there was a recall on them for some year cars. That was some of my early experience on GM recalls.
