My new baby

1964 Olds Dynamic 88. Rides like a dream! Steering a little floaty though. 2 door hardtop.

Welcome to the site, nice car. A new set of shocks will probably firm it up a bit.

Nice ride! The steering on all full size Olds in the early to mid-sixties was "a little floaty" from the factory.

Welcome aboard, congrats on your good taste in big Oldsmobiles. In addition to shocks, check the steering linkage and suspension bushings.

Nice ride

Nice car. Makes me all the more anxious to get my '64 dynamic. No word on progress for the past couple of months.

Coil-over shocks can really help firm up those old floaty rides. Some of the late '60s models were so bad brand new that the dealers would install coil-overs immediately upon receiving the cars.
