Welcome to the site, post some pics of the rest of the car. I'll let others decode your cowl tag.

Here are some pics. As you can tell it is not the original color but there are spots. There are a few rust spots that need to be addressed. Additionally after about an hour of driving it died so it is currently sitting at a Walmart parking lot. Hoping I just flooded it. Will try to start again later.

I think red is always a good color, and certainly more desirable, to my eye, than white over black.

My '67 Delta was originally yellow, and when I had it repainted, I had it done in red.

At least you stalled out in a Walmart parking lot, so you'll always have food!

Me too. But this isn't a democracy.

Best of luck with your new ride, Nihayde. Here's hoping it's out of the parking lot at Wallyworld by now!

Thanks everyone. Excited to be here. No luck on the car. Having it towed as the car came with a warranty

Still think it is carb related but only time will tell.

Turned out to be an ignition coil. Had my local shop fix it while at work. After work took it around for about 2 hours and had no further issues. Next step will be getting a manual so I can work on it myself. Whole point of buying the car was to learn how to work and tinker with it. This 442 owner could not be happier.

Black with white top is WAY more interesting than what it currently is.

Diego. Yeah I think the Ebony black will be awesome. Personally most of the 442 colors are great. I think my favorite though was the darker green. Not sure what the actual color name is though

Finding that broadcast sheet was key. Good luck with your 442. Be sure to talk with others about their 442 experiences, high and lows, and the light at the end of the tunnel.
