Seattle 68 rebuild

I finally figured I'd post something here to say thanks for all the helpful information a few years back when I was rebuilding my old high school car.

Another car got me into forums last winter and after extensive work on it, I figured I would get back to work on the olds.

The engine took a few years of very hard miles so it needs to come out again... the mechanical stuff is complete outside an engine refresh and will be sending it off for paint this winter.

Look forward to updating and helping where I can too.

68 Cutlass Project 2012

Sorry for the delay of 6 years or so in thanking you at this site for the help!
I read on here a lot back by my join date but never took time to post stuff.
The two first pics are after a rebuild of everything mechanical in 2012ish.
The other two are from this week.
Figured that I'd get back on here because I'm going to rebuild the motor again too.
Bought this car in high school, sold, then bought it back in 2006.

Neat story! How were you able to track it down again?

I sold it to a friend
Only way to go when you're selling a car you know you'll regret letting go of.

My buddy swapped out the 455/T400 combo I'd built for his vert and I bought it back with a worn out 455/T400. Did the 455 up with ported heads, big pushrods, roller valvetrain, forged rods, girdle and a 700r4 with 4.10 posi, new axles, C-clip eliminator, -8 fuel system.

Hey Guys -
Figured I'd update this since it has been a while and have been busy with other projects.
The car is stripped and needs some metal work before paint but still happening.
Unfortunately the guy who was polishing my trim and doing the bumpers is a ghost right now...

Welcome! Had a 68 back in the mid seventies, bought it from my wife before we were married. She lost her license for speeding!
