Paint has finally been decided

HOK Candy Brandywine over black how much candy we will have to see since I just want a hint of it
Floors are done, firewall is repaired, bucket seat and console brackets done
Front channel repair almost complete rear still needs some attention...
Passenger fender and door done. Drivers fender still needs brace replaced
Car still needs to be dropped back onto the frame for final alignment and fit

I`m taking a jump and painting myself....what the hell need to learn sometime

Still need to find some vintage Crager SS rims... roller rims will have to do for now

still havent decided on body trim.... I really am leaning to none other than the C/S emblem on the sail panel and trunk Cutlass wheel well trim

Oh and yeah.... I have another kid on the way so I really am feeling no pressure lol
sounds like a cool color I did mine myself also first time HOK candyred over silver met turned out nice just keep it moving and dont overlap to much or you will get zebra stripes had to jam everything first then bolt everything on to paint whole car Im sure you will be fine we all have friends that can help cant wait to see your pictures of it painted

Craig they actually do have Internet .... But wireless we will have to see how it works lol

Roger
my panel is a little thinner gauge than I would like mine is the Taiwan panel but I know they stamp a U.S. Panel but I don't know how it would fit
When you do it it will take multiple test fits

Stan I have met Terry multiple times it won't be in the mag just posted on facebook . Best car mag around by far !!!!

Ben it is getting there .... Slowwwwwly lol
Did you get that filler panel alright ?

A bit of an update started to strip the whole car to prep the body found some small dents and one crease at the passenger jam of the quarter was filled with a half inch of mud so going to section it out when I get a chance

Still can't figure out how to post pics through my phone but will post some when I get chance

Lking good ! I'ts to bad about the internet thing , mine is about half that cost for cable internet . We moved 16 blocks down the road and had to switch from DHL to RR , because the DHL was now out of range , and we live in a major city !

Bit of an update
Between work and family this car is not going to get done so I'm putting it up for sale
I have no time for it.
I will probably just end up buying a driver

I would rather have someone finish it and drive it

Wes, there are 2 ways to look at it. Easier quicker and faster to sell it and get a driver. Think it over good so you are not sorry its gone. If you can keep it, do so as things eventually will improve. My kids are still home but one is out of college and the other a few more years to go. It did free up my time and did give me some bucks to play with. My project would not have happened a few years ago. Nor would I have had the bucks to buy one already done, and I still cant do that...
