Plastic Chroming

Does anyone know where I can get this procedure done on the West Coast?
I would like to get the plastic covers on the seat hinges redone. They aren't broken anywhere but the plastic is starting to peel.
Thanks

Try "Shine On" on in Nanaimo. They do the spray on chrome finish. There's a similar place in Sidney but I wasn't too impressed when I talked to that guy in the spring.

You probably already know that plastic "chrome" isn't really chrome. It's a vacuum deposited aluminum coating. That's what the factory used. There are vendors who will actually apply chrome to plastic, using a process of vacuum depositing nickel then applying the chrome. The latter is much more durable (and expensive). Be sure you compare apples-to-apples when considering price.
