This add has been running for months now, not sure if it's the color you are looking for. If it is, I bet you could swing a pretty good deal. Good Luck.

Look at Legendary Auto Interiors Catalogue for '64- '72 Cutlass and on page 38 there's a # 45 that may be what you are needing. If it looks close they will send you a sample. Larry

As I have the same color in my 71 SX, I was wondering if you received the "rust" sample yet and if so, how did it compare? I replaced my carpet with "Burnt Orange" years ago, but was never happy with it. Sienna, being a one year only color and as only used by Oldsmobile and some Pontiacs probably doesn't justify the manufacturers to bother with it. Thanks.

Thanks, but I was referring to the Sienna interior color and the problems of obtaining the correct carpet, as a follow up to the original poster.

got the rust color sample from legendary, not an exact match. also the sample was about 1"x1" not very big. a bit to red for me. called the parts place and they said they would send me the sienna carpet. should be in soon.

Its been a year and a half, but how did you make out with obtaining the correct or close to correct Sienna carpet? I'm planning ahead for new carpet and upholstery this winter.
Thanks

Well this is great news. I found it on their site and they specifically list Sienna Brown with a $20.00 surcharge. That's fine. So I take it you were happy with the color and quality including the correct loop. I have been waiting for this for years. As you know they only made this in 71 and just for Oldsmobile and Pontiac.
Thanks.

Can you please post photo's of your interior ? I also have a 1971 sienna interior but it has a trashy carpet and aftermarket cloth seat covers. I want the new carpet to match the bottom door panels.

I just received the Parts Place Sienna carpet, which is mostly known as Dark Copper by different vendors. It is an ACC carpet. There is no exact Sienna carpet made, I've been looking for thirty years. However, this carpet is close to the original and I am pleased with it. Sienna actually has a little more yellow in it than this carpet but the replacement matches the original upholstery very well and no one will ever know, unless you compared them side by side. It is very hard to get colors to show correctly with a camera phone and a computer, but I have attached some. The seating material you see on my seats is what was reproduced twenty years ago by ICP Crown. You will note it is too red, and the wrong grain. I have just ordered a new set of front and rear seat covers from Legendary Interiors during their winter sale. I've seen their reproductions and they are excellent with correct grains and colors. Sienna is a nice color when fresh, albeit odd to describe: reddish, yellowish, copperish brown. LOL.
If you order the upholstery from Legendary and the carpet from them, I believe as Dark Copper or from the Parts Place as Sienna, I think you will be happy. It's ultimately the best you can get.
