69 Cutlass glovebox door compatability

Is a 68 Cutlass glovebox door the same as a 69? They look very similar! Thanx in advance!

Yes they will interchange. As will the dash pads and plastic instrument panels.

I'm pretty sure they are compatible between '68 and '69, but they aren't the same! There is a subtle difference in the design between the two years.

I didn't realize that Randy. Now I'm going to have to put the two side by side and look for the difference!

Look around where the push button is for the lock. That's where you see the difference between a '68 glove box door and a '69 glove box door.

Did a search and couldn't find it. There's a 68 door on ebay and was wondering!

68 has a smaller "teardrop" around the lock assembly...
I have one of each for sale, but have to take updated photos if anyone is interested....

Glovebox doors

Not for sale-Here are the 68 (top) & 69(bottom) for comparison, they are not for sale. Not difference in diameter of latch-well, and latch styles.

The back side is the same, as I recall. The piece/latch assembly that holds the lock cylinder on my '68 broke and I replaced it with the latch assembly from a '69 glove box.
