1965 Jetstar1 console w/tach Question

Good evening. I had recently bought a 65 Jetstar1, and the previous owner was in the process of installing carpet, and most of the interior trim was removed, including console. From what I can tell, I'm either missing a piece that goes behind the tach, or I have it, but no idea what it is, lol! I'm wondering if anyone has a photo they could post for some visual help. Any interior pic's of the Jetstar1 would be helpful in trying to put this back right. Thanks, Jim

Thanks so much for the pic's. When I got the car, the console had been completely dis-assembled, but I kept finding little chunks of brown plastic. As I pieced them together using reference clues, I finally figured out I was missing probably the most important, and hardest to find, pieces. Now I'm in the market for the plastic pieces that go on the sides of the console, and surround the tach, lol! I had restored Packard Carribeans at a shop for a living, and now feel young again, by not knowing every intricate detail of a car make, lol! Thanks again, Jim

Wow I have been looking around for a JetStar 1, please send more pictures and your progress. How far are you going with the restoration?

Good afternoon, Robski. I don't really plan on restoring it. Currently I'm working on the carpet and headliner, and just getting the inside cleaned up nice. Body wise, it's a pretty decent 10-20 footer. I plan on taking it to a couple of cruises, owl poop, dust, and all. I generally like to park next to 80K Z-28 clones, and sit back and watch how much attention my oddball cars draw, lol! There are some pics of it in the introduction forum. Take care.
