Interior Trim Screw Size - 66 442

I need to order a few extra of the chrome plated oval head screws that are used in different locations throughout the interior. I am trying to decipher if most of them are #6 or #8. Appreciate any guidance you can provide.

I think they are #8, I'd take 1 over to a bolt and screw store and just have them match it up. You can usually get them much cheaper there anyway.

Going to a local hardware store frequently is essential when tinkering with an Oldsmobile.

Most of the interior screws will be #8 in size. Some of them may be Pozidriv head though. Keep that in mind of you are doing a restoration. Standard phillips head screws will work just fine if you just want to get things back together. Most people will never notice the difference.
