Question Textured dash paint for 64-65?

Was just wondering what everyone uses for the textured dash paint on these cars. Mine is blue but I can't recall seeing crinkle paint that color out there.

This would be the '64-'65 Cutlass/F-85 where the top of the dash is a darker shade of the interior color. It's kind of a rough finish. The '66-'67 models might have it too, not sure.

Just flat paint, no texture to it.

Yes 64 , 65 dash pads have texture I thought that SEM had a generic pad texture spray that you can do before dying the pad ?

I do have some at the Pole Barn. I can get you a picture of the can tomorrow.
It works great as a Base Coat to cover repairs and blemishes.
I do believe SEM is the manufacturer,
I have used it on ABS Consoles and Dash Pads. Works great .
I will send you some info tomorrow if you send me a PM.

He is talking about the metal dash frame, the top and sides are painted flat and the bottom is gloss.

Oh got ya I was wondering about that my self I was planning on painting all of the frame gloss. Is there a reason it's flat like light reflection ?

You got it Jaunty, the top of the metal frame. Not tackling that on my car but wanted to know every time I look at it what everyone used.
