Q-Bond Plastic Repair

Has anyone tried this stuff? I used some to repair a couple center consoles and it worked great. I have not repaired any metal with it yet but it has the metal repair included.

What types of plastics (consoles, grilles, seat skirt etc) have you gentlemen used Q-bond or Tech bond on? And where did the above products work best for you on. Thanks in advance.

I've tried on a console so far. The repair seems very strong.

I put masking tape underneath as per directions and then filled with powder a little at a time and glue, I repeated this until it was slightly above level and then sanded a bit. I drilled new holes yesterday and it did not seem brittle at all.

I repaired the mounting posts on a 67 dash plastic where they had broken from the original positions. This claims to bond molecularly and I believe it. That plastic is usually very hard to bond back together but Tech-Bond worked great. Where there were pieces missing, I used some clear acrylic and shaved it into a large particle dust for filler and built up the missing areas. Drilled the repair to the correct size and threaded the metal posts into it. Made a very high strength repair.
